Unlike traditional weir-type diaphragm valves, the Unobstructed Flow Diaphragm Valve features a completely straight, smooth bore that matches the pipeline diameter. When the valve is in the open position, the elastomeric diaphragm retracts fully into the bonnet area, creating a flow path that is virtually identical to the pipe itself.
