The Metal Seated Double Offset Flanged Butterfly Valve operates on a sophisticated principle. Its primary feature is the double eccentricity (or offset) of the disc. This innovative design ensures that the disc only contacts the metal seat in the final few degrees of closure and opening, virtually eliminating sliding friction during 90% of its operation.
