1. The main beam structure of a gantry crane is different from that of a single main beam and a double main beam; different main beam structures have different load-bearing capacities. If the main beam is often hoisted with 5 tons, it is more embarrassing to buy a larger one to avoid overloading and inability to complete the operation. With good economic conditions and sufficient budget, it is wise to try to choose a larger lifting capacity.

2. Depending on the different places where the gantry crane is used, the problem of beam span needs to consider whether it is convenient to pass under the gantry crane to avoid occupying space and causing other inconveniences, which is also a headache. After the gantry crane is installed, it cannot be changed.

3. Before installing the gantry crane, it is necessary to consider the number of drivers. If it is used frequently, for safety reasons, it is better to have a cab so that the staff can stand in the cab to watch the operation site below and have a wide field of vision to increase safety. It is not easy to hit other people after lifting.

4. Is it necessary to install a frequency conversion structure? Frequency conversion is more energy-saving, safer to operate, and more convenient to drive. However, the cost is very high. If it is a small and medium-sized enterprise, it does not need to be considered in order to save costs.

5. The lifting methods of gantry cranes are mainly trolleys and electric hoists. The lifting structure of each gantry crane is very important. If there is no good lifting or operation, it will directly lead to slow operation speed and weak carrying capacity.

6. Considering the working level of large-tonnage gantry cranes, try to choose a higher working level, such as A6, small cranes, and if the carrying capacity is low, try to choose A3 level.
