This design eliminates metal-to-metal contact inside the passage, prevents corrosion at the sealing face, and maintains a bubble-tight shutoff up to the full rated working pressure. The compact wafer body slips directly between ANSI 125/150 flanges, reducing installation time and eliminating the need for heavy hoisting equipment in congested pipe galleries.


The is engineered for repetitive manual operation, with a fatigue-resistant ductile iron body that withstands abrupt pressure spikes commonly found in municipal water supply and HVAC chilled-water loops. The hand handle incorporates a multi-position notched plate that allows quick quarter-turn opening or closing, plus a memory stop for repeatable throttling settings. Because the seat wraps around the face and into the body bore, gaskets are unnecessary—the valve’s own liner creates a leak-proof flange seal. This self-gasketing feature dramatically simplifies piping alignment and reduces the number of consumables required on site. The shaft is fitted with a maintenance-free bushing and an anti-blowout shoulder, so the stem remains secure even if the handle is removed during system commissioning.

The valve is factory-tested in accordance with API 598 at 1.1 times the nominal pressure for seat leakage and 1.5 times for shell integrity. Every unit ships with a protective cardboard cover over the disc lip and a plastic cap on the stem top to prevent contamination during storage and transit. Operators can specify micro-switch limit switches or a gear operator retrofitted to the same mounting flange without replacing the wafer body.
