What Are the Main Performance Parameters of Double-Girder Cranes?

2025-01-03

Double-girder crane is a type of bridge crane, which is used in conjunction with an electric trolley. Its main performance parameters include: lifting capacity, span, working level, mechanism working speed, lifting height, wheel pressure, and some other related parameters. Today we will mainly introduce the first 6 main ones.

1. Lifting capacity: refers to the allowable lifting capacity of a double-girder crane during normal operation.

2. Span: This span is the distance between the vertical center lines of the wheels at both ends of the crane's main beam.

3. Working level: The working status indicator of the whole machine, indicating the full load degree of the crane's lifting load and the busyness of the lifting frequency. The crane working level is divided into A1-A8, a total of 8 levels: light (A1-A3), medium (A4, A5), heavy (A6, A7), and overweight (A8).

4. Mechanism working speed (5 speeds)

(1) Lifting speed: The lifting speed of the lifting mechanism motor at the rated speed and the lifting speed of the picking device when it is fully loaded.

(2) Trolley running speed: the running speed of the trolley running mechanism motor at rated speed.

(3) Carriage running speed: the running speed of the trolley when the trolley running mechanism motor is at rated speed.

5. Lifting height: the distance from the upper limit to the lower limit of the double-girder crane hoist (hook or electromagnetic chuck, etc.).

6. Wheel pressure: the vertical pressure exerted on the crane wheels by the weight of the bridge and trolley at the extreme position.
